Museum Passes and Roku Streaming Sticks

OH Wow! The Roger and Gloria Jones Children's Center for Science & Technology

Library patrons can borrow a family admission pass to the OH Wow! The Roger & Gloria Jones Children's Center for Science & Technology in Downtown Youngstown with their library card.   The family pass is good for admission for four, and can be borrowed for seven days.  The purchase of this pass was made possible by the fundraising efforts of the Friends of the Library.  To learn more about OH Wow! and the current exhibits, visit their website at ohwowkids.org  

Akron Zoo 

Patrons of the East Palestine Library can now borrow a family pass to the Akron Zoo. The pass allows admission to the zoo for two adults and four children along with free parking. The pass can be ckecked out for seven days with your East Palestine Library card. This family pass is made possible by the Friends of the Library.  Akron Zoo is open daily from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Roku Streaming Sticks  

The library has five Roku Streaming sticks for patrons who want to try streaming tv shows and movies on their televisions without cable. All you need is high speed internet and a television that accepts an HDMI plug.  

Patrons must be 18 years or older to borrow a Roku. This item circulates for one week with one renewal. They can be placed on reserve and cannot be renewed if another patron is waiting.
