The library is providing a volunteer opportunity for students 10-17 years old to assist with book sales, programs, and other ways of supporting the library. Call the library or come to a meeting to learn how to get involved!

Children can read to Cedric the Therapy Dog on Thursday, April 11 beginning at 4:30 PM. Appointments are available by calling the library at 330-426-3778. Cedric's visit to the library is made possible by Ashleigh Davis of the East Palestine Resiliency Center.

On Monday, April 1 at 2:00 PM (the day after Easter), learn about the art of dance when visitors from Kathi's Dance and Gym demonstrate some of the various dance styles that are taught at the school. All ages are welcome to attend.

Learn about the Kast Iron Soda Works in Salem on Monday, May 13 at 6:00 PM.  Hear about their business inspiration, their vintage sodas, and why soda fountains are so cool.

On Thursday, May 9 at 4:00 PM, bring your creativity to make animals from air dry clay.  Ages 8 and up are welcome to participate.

On Thursday, April 25 at 6:00 PM, we will offer experiments, stories, and activities at our STEM for Families program.

Solar Eclipse -  Monday, April 8 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Celebrate the momentous occasion of this astrological event with us at the library green space just after 3:00 PM on April 8.
We will have activities and more! Bring a lawn chair and we will supply the eclipse glasses while supplies last.  

The next solar eclipse will occur in 2099!

On Saturday, April 6 at 11:00 AM, stop in the library to create an eclipse viewer to prepare for the Solar Eclipse on Monday, April 8. All ages are welcome to participate! Please bring a shoe box or cereal box if you have one available.
