The Friends of the Library are offering a preview night of the Book Sale only on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  The admission fee is $5.00 to participate.  The Book Sale will feature a $5.00 bag sale throughout the event. Bags will be provided.

Explore with us! Each week will feature a special guest on Tuesdays at 2:00 PM from June 11 to July 30. Attendees will receive a ticket to enter into a drawing for four tickets to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. All ages are welcome to attend this program.

Two simultaneous kids play groups: one for ages 18 months to 3 years old and the other for 4 to 8 years old. Play games, make new friends, and have lots of fun on Mondays at 11:00 AM from June 10 to July 29.

Jungle Terry and his animal friends will be visiting the library to help us kick off Summer Program 2024.

Stop in the library on Saturday, June 1 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM to register to participate in this year's Summer Program. The first 100 children to register will receive a stress ball globe. All ages are welcome to participate in our "50 States Challenge," by completing 50 activities and mark off the states for the activities you complete. Once all the states are filled in, turn in your sheet to be entered into a grand prize drawing.  One grand prize per person. 

Children can read to Cedric the Therapy Dog on Thursday, April 11 beginning at 4:30 PM. Appointments are available by calling the library at 330-426-3778. Cedric's visit to the library is made possible by Ashleigh Davis of the East Palestine Resiliency Center.

On Monday, April 1 at 2:00 PM (the day after Easter), learn about the art of dance when visitors from Kathi's Dance and Gym demonstrate some of the various dance styles that are taught at the school. All ages are welcome to attend.

Mercy Health Mobile Dental Clinic will visit East Palestine Library on Wednesday, May 15 from 8:45 AM t
