East Palestine Memorial Public Library has coloring pages in both the adult and children's areas of the library for patrons to take a break and color the autumn images.  

The McDade Art Cart is available during library hours for tweens and teens to use while visiting the library.  The cart has a variety of art supplies including paint, colored pencils, paper, clay, and more.

Craft events and drop-in crafts are also offered for our patrons of all ages.

 

 

Programs for Young Children

Programs for Young Children at the East Palestine Library

Kids Play Group for children ages 2 to 5 years old is offered on Monday mornings at 11:00 AM. Children play games, listen to stories, and meet new friends. A Special Saturday edition of this program will be offered on Saturday, October 21, and Saturday, November 18 at 11:00 AM.

August Book Clubs Book Reveal

East Palestine Memorial Public Library has a number of book clubs for readers to join. For more information about these groups, please contact the library.

Drop-In Book Club meets the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30 PM. The group discusses the books the participants are currently reading. Participants can join the discussion on a monthly basis or simply drop-in on a meeting.

Friends of the Library Book Sale and Silent Auction

The Friends of the East Palestine Library will host a Book Sale and Silent Auction on Thursday, June 8 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday, June 9 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Saturday, June 10 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The event is a bag sale for $5 a bag. Bags will be provided.

A preview day to the Book Sale will take place on Wednesday, June 7 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  The admission to attend the preview day sale is $5. The event is a bag sale for $5 a bag. Bags will be provided.

EP Strong Art Display

Show your love for East Palestine!

The library will be hosting an art display this summer with the theme “EP Strong.” We ask participants to draw, paint, photograph, or create some other form of artistic expression that highlights something you love about East Palestine.

The maximum size for an entry cannot be larger than 8 ½x 11 inches (the standard size of a piece of printer paper). The art entered will be hung up outside of the community room in the large display case in the library.
