Participants will also learn about areas of support available after the loss of a loved one. Pumpkin Festival - Saturday, October 1 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Pumpkin Tasting Participants are asked to bring a casserole, dessert, cookie, or snack made with pumpkin as an ingredient along with a copy of the recipe. This is a Friends of the Library event. Pumpkin Painting and More We will offer a variety of activities on the south lawn of the library to celebrate fall and the library’s new pergola and green space. Teen Art Cart in memory of Matthew McDade Thanks to a donation in memory of Matthew McDade, the library has an art cart for teens. The cart will be stocked with supplies for teens to create while they are visiting the library. Stop by the library to participate. Friends of the Library Our active Friends of the Library group meets the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm. Inquire at the library to see how you can join. Library patrons can borrow a family admission pass to the OH WOW! The Roger & Gloria Jones Children’s Center for Science and Technology located in Downtown Youngstown with their library card. The family pass is good for four admissions to the museum, and can be borrowed from the library for seven days. The purchase of the admission pass was made possible by the Friends of the Library.
